Requirements Types
A requirement type is needed to define the number and kind of the characteristics of a requirement. I.e., a A requirement type consists of a collection of attributes . Also and the table header will be designed by these types.

Prerequisite: the view "Type Definition” is open. |
Right-click in the "Type Definition" view (you can open the Type Definition view via Window → Show View → other and use the search function to find the Type Definition view).
Choose New > New Requirement Type

to open the dialog "New requirement type"

Enter a name for the requirement type.
Optionally, enter a description.
Set the safety relevance for the requirement type.

Finish.
Outcome: a A requirement type was will be created and added to the view "Type Definition".

Inserting Attributes
Existing attributes can be used for the requirement type.
Click on Insert

to open the "Attribute selection"

catalog.
Select the desired attribute.
Click on OK.
Outcome: The selected attribute was is added to the requirement type.

Creating new Attributes
Click on New.
