Catalogs can be exported from the System and Public folders.
Right-click inside the Catalogs view on the desired catalog.

Choose Export > Catalog. - Outcome: the dialog "Catalog Export" will open.

Click on Browse… to specify the file location.
Click on Finish.
Outcome: a catalog was exported and saved to the chosen location.
