Right-clicking the TARA Catalogs folder or somewhere within the folder opens a context-menu via which you can create folders and new catalog files. New catalogs can be created within a folder structure within the TARA Catalogs folder. Given it is the correct catalog type, its location will have no effect on its contents being usable in the TARA.

To create a new global TARA Catalog, select Create Catalog from the context menu.

Adding Catalog Entries to a TARA

When populating a TARA file, the contents of the relevant catalogs, in this case the Asset catalogs , are displayed in the respective drop-down menu. Entries from a global catalog are indicated by a grafik-20240904-131215.png-icon.

Adding an object from a global catalog adds a copy of that object in the corresponding Project Catalog. Any changes made in the TARA will reflect on in the local copy, not in the global catalog.
