Requirements Types
A requirement type is needed to define the number and kind of the characteristics of a requirement. I.e., a A requirement type consists of a collection of attributes . Also and the table header will be designed by these types.

Prerequisite: the view "Type Definition” is open. |
Right-click in the "Type Definition" view (you can open the Type Definition view via Window → Show View → other and use the search function to find the Type Definition view).
Choose New > New Requirement Type. - Outcome: to open the dialog "New requirement type" will open.
Enter a name for the requirement type.
Optionally, enter a description.
Set the safety relevance for the requirement type.
Click on Finish.
Outcome: a A requirement type was will be created and added to the view "Type Definition".

Existing attributes can be used for the requirement type.
Click on Insert. - Outcome: the dialog to open the "Attribute selection" will opencatalog.
Select the desired attribute.
Click on OK.
