Creating New Requirement Modules

A module represents a collection of requirements. However, as a requirement needs to be assigned to a module, the creation of module is mandatory.

1. If not already available, open the Hierarchy View in the SOX client via Help → Show View → Other… → Requirements → Hierarchy

2. Right-click in the Hierarchy View.

3. Select New > New Module. The dialog "New module" will open.

4. Enter a name for the module.

5. Optionally, enter a description.

6. Click Browse to choose a module type or create a new one by clicking on the plus symbol.

7. Click Finish to create your new module. It is automatically added to the Hierarchy View.
