Importing a Failure Rate Catalog

Catalogs can only be imported into the Public folder.

 

  1. Right-click in the Catalogs view on the Public folder.

  2. Choose Import. - Outcome: the "Import wizard selection" dialog will open.

  3. Navigate the drill-down structure to navigate to “Catalog” or use the filter to obtain the same result.

  4. With “Catalog” selected, click Next. - Outcome: the “Catalog import” dialog will open.

  5. Click on Browse... to choose the desired source file.

  6. Click on Browse... to choose the target folder.

  7. Enter a Name for the catalog.

  8. Optionally, enter a Description.

  9. The UID will be set automatically. If the UID already exists, click on the ‘red X’ button to generate
    a new one.

     

  10. Confirm by clicking OK (Cancel will abort the process because you cannot save without generating a new UID).

  11. Click on Finish.

Outcome: a catalog was imported and added to the Public folder in the catalogs view.
