Creating Test Specifications

A SOX test specification contains a test plan, analysis and test group section.

Open

1. Open the SOX project in the repository view.

2. Right-click on the Test folder.

   Open

   

3. Choose New > Test Specification. - Outcome: the dialog "Create new Test Specification" will open.

4. Unless you are using the default types (first radio button), click on Browse to specify the file location.

5. Enter a file name.

6. Choose the Template language (a template for the test plan which helps you to provide your test
   plan with all necessary information).

7. Click on Finish. - Outcome: a new test specification with test plan, analysis and test groups was added to the repository.
