Introduction

The Web-Based Hazard and Risk Analysis (HARA) module supports you in evaluating high level risks, deriving top level safety requirements (synonymously, safety goals) and assembling safety reviews.

EnCo HARA enables the allocation, management, and evaluation of functions, malfunctions, effects, hazards, operating conditions, and safety objectives. The evaluation matrix facilitates the individual assembly of different ASIL reviews. Selected aspects can be filtered, sorted and viewed in a variety of configurations.
Use the SOX System Designer (SysML / UML) and Requirements Management module to model your safety concept or conduct further analysis with SOX modules FMEA, BOM/FMEDA or FTA.

The HARA supports safety level calculation for the following standards:

  • ISO 26262 Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL),

  • ISO 26262 Motorcycle Safety Integrity Level (MSIL)

  • IEC 61508 Safety Integrity Level (SIL),

  • IEC 13849 Performance Level (PL)

  • ISO 25119 Agricultural Performance Level (AGPL),

By defining the safety standard, you get all the necessary parameters that you need to calculate the safety level. The SOX HARA Editor offers you extensive filter and layout options so you always stay on top of the modelling situation.
