Creating a New BOM Module

Prerequisite: A reliability file was created and the BOM Modules view is active.

  1. In the BOM Modules view right-click on the element Overall system. This virtual assembly group
    provides all assembly groups of the BOM.

     

  2. Choose New → New Module - Outcome: the dialog "New assembly group" will open.

     

  3. Enter a Name for the module. Any existing modules can be detected by using the filter facility.

  4. Click OK. - Outcome: a new module was created and added to the "Overall system".

 

This procedure also works on BOM file in repository and PSS view.
