Adding Placeholders
Additionally, when editing a report template, you will find the Add Placeholder option.

Placeholders allow you to export predefined, filtered data in your reports. You can display data from the categories Function, Malfunction, Safety Goals, Security Goals, Requirements, System Elements, Hazards, and Diagnosis.
Select the aforementioned Add Placeholder option to add a placeholder into the template you are currently editing. The Create New Placeholder dialog opens.
First, select the category (1) you want your template to display. Via function you can then narrow down your results by filtering for different parameters, such as Text Filter, Safety Filters, Security Filters and so on (2). By clicking the submit button, you add the new placeholder with your defined filters to your report template.

Depending on the category chosen, there are different filters to choose from:
Text Filter: Filter for specific terms or phrases.
Safety Filters: Filter for standards. Afterwards, you can further specify the safety level.
Security Filters: Filter for standards. Afterwards, you can further specify the safety level.
Comment Filters: You can filter for comments. It can be specified if you want to filter by specific authors and/or by date.
Task Filter: You can enter a task name to filter by.
Project (Only in Requirements): Select a project in your respository to import the requirements from.
Document and Modules (Only in Requirements): Select a document and optionally specify the module.
Type and Attributes (Only in Requirements): Select a type of requirement and optionally specify the attribute.
Status (Only in Requirements): Select the status of the requirement.

To create the placeholder with the respective filters, confirm your choices with SUBMIT.
Inside the template, your new placeholder will be displayed as a function.
When creating a new report from that template, the defined data from the respective project will be shown as a table.
