Adding Malfunctions to a Function

Prerequisites: an FMEA document is selected, and system elements were created having at least one function.
There are multiple views in which you can create new objects or edit them. The result will always be the same, regardless of doing it in the FMEA editor or another view.
Right-click on a function.
Choose New > Malfunction. - Outcome: the "Add new malfunction" dialog will open.
Enter a name for the new malfunction.
The sequence number of the malfunction can either be determined automatically by SOX with a consecutive number, or you may enter your own sequence number (optional).
Type a description into the "Description" box (optional).
If you want to add another malfunction, click on Save & New. Otherwise click OK.
Outcome: the malfunctions were added.
