Papyrus GUI in SOX

This section describes where to find the modeling functionality of RCP Papyrus in SOX. With the Workbench perspective active the SOX user interface looks as shown in following figure.

  1. The model explorer at lower left of the screen shows all model content.

  2. The diagram editor allows for creating or viewing model content. It provides all modeling tools needed for a specific type of diagram organized in palettes on the right.

  3. For a model element selected in model explorer or in a diagram the properties view shows context specific information organized in different tabs on left-hand side.

  4. The Papyrus menu allows to create new diagrams and tables and provides access to styling options.

  5. The tool bar gives direct access to Papyrus specific features such as creating diagrams and arranging model elements therein, among others. By mouse over a short explanation is shown for each icon.

  6. In repository view the folder DESIGN of a project shows the hierarchical structure of system elements created as well as functions and malfunctions connected to them.
