Creating Diagrams in System Designer

Diagrams can be created from the Model Explorer view. Creating a diagram can be achieved by right-clicking on one of the shown model classes on the picture . The selected element will own the diagram.

  1. Right-click SysML 1.4 model.

  2. From the context menu, select New Diagram.

  3. Choose your desired diagram type. - Outcome: a file dialog will open, prompting you for a name for the diagram.

  4. Enter a name and click OK. - Outcome: the Diagram Editor will open.

The diagrams will be saved and can be found in the Model Explorer view.
