Failure Rate Catalogs

SOX provides the IEC62380 and SN29500 failure rate catalogs which contain categories and
component types. They are implemented as part of the SOX installation. The catalogs are stored in the System folder in the Catalogs view.

Failure rate and failure mode catalogs in the System folder cannot be edited.

The Failure Rate Catalogs view displays all failure rate catalogs from the System and Public folders.
Use this view to assign failure rates to components by dragging and dropping. It is possible in this manner concurrently to select multiple components (using the CTRL key, for example), assigning the same failure mode to each of them. Different catalogs can be selected using the triangle symbol.

Catalogs in this view cannot be edited. Use the Public folder in the Catalogs view for creating,
importing and editing catalogs.
