Creating Test Runs

Test runs are necessary for executing a defined set of test cases. They also contain information about
results and status of the test run.

Precondition: The Test perspective is active.

Right-click into the Test Runs view.

1. Choose New > TestRun.

   Open

   

2. Outcome: the "New TestRun" dialog will open.

   Open

   

3. Enter a name for the test run.

4. Optionally, enter a description for the test run.

5. Click on the Schedule icon to define the schedule of the test run.

6. Click on the Execution date icon to define the time of execution of the test run.

7. Click on the ellipsis (…) to select the test executor.

8. Click on the Evaluation date icon to define the time of evaluation of the test run.

9. Click on the ellipsis (…) to select the test evaluator.

10. Select a Priority for this test run.

11. Click on the ellipsis (…) to choose the employee in charge of this test group.

12. If you are using the Save & proceed function, the previously created test runs will be displayed in
    this field.

13. Click OK.

Outcome: a test run was created and added to the Test Runs view.
