Executing Test Runs
Before attempting to execute test runs, ensure that your test run and the test cases have the following statuses:

The Test Case must be Active. | The Test Run must be Approved. |
This is the default SOX workflow as defined in the state machine. Please contact us for implementing a customized state machine and workflow.

Prerequisites: test cases were added to the test run. The status of the test run is approved and the
associated test cases are active. The Test Runs view is active.

Right-click on the test run to be executed.
Choose Start TestRun. - Outcome: the "Test Run execution" dialog will open.
[1] Counter for test run duration. [2] Status of executed test cases. (Passed/Passed with Errors/Error/Blocked). [3] Test case and test step content. [4] Start/Pause Test Case. [5] Keep comment. If active the most recently entered comment stays in the comment box. [6] Archive/Interrupt Test Run. [7] Buttons for rating the test steps. [8] Previously entered comments can be selected here and used for the currently executed test step. [9] Rate complete Test Case, if active the complete test case will be rated with your selected rating. [10] Structure of test case and test steps which are included in this test run.Click on Start Test Case. - Outcome: the counter [1] for this test run will start.
Rate the current test step. If you want to rate the current test step with Passed with errors, Error or Blocked, you have to enter a comment inside the comment box.
After you have rated all test steps and test cases, click on Archive to finish the test execution.
Outcome: the test run was executed.
