Applying Stereotypes

Applying Stereotypes

Manually applying/removing SOX Stereotypes changes the meaning of an element in SOX, which
can have unintended consequences, e.g., if the element is already used in other documents.

  1. Create an element in the diagram editor.

  2. Select the element.

  3. Open the Properties view.

  4. Choose Profile.

  5. Click on the Apply stereotype symbol (the ‘plus’ icon highlighted above). - Outcome: The Stereotype window will open.

  6. Select the desired stereotypes.

  7. Use the arrow buttons (right/left/up/down) to rearrange the stereotypes as required.

  8. Once done, click OK. - Outcome: The selected stereotypes have been applied to the object.

Use the Remove button (also visible in Step 4 above) to dissociate stereotypes from the active object.
